Andrew Hughes, Owner
Andrew began working with trees at just 16 years old when he was hired by an organic farm to help manage woodlots and pastures. After spending several years at the farm, Andrew decided to take his new found calling and acquired skills to residential markets and started Urban Loggers. What was initially intended to be a small side job for a highschool, and later college student, soon became a main provider in Licking County with a full range of equipment and an excellent team.
Henry Brooks, Arborist
Henry has been working at Urban Loggers since 2019. When he is not climbing trees, bucking logs, and taking swanky photos for the Urban Loggers Instagram, he can be found white water rafting, rock climbing, skydiving, or riding his motorcycle. Henry earned a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Denion University in 2022.
Sam Rodriguez, Arborist
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Sam came to Ohio four year ago to pursue higher education in politics, philosophy and economics. Sam enjoys baseball, computer science, and fixing his now 27 year old car. When he is not stressing over his car, he spends his time growing his youtube channel which he uploads to weekly.
John Antol, Arborist
John is the newest addition to Urban Loggers. He is a quick study and fixing to be Ohio’s next certified arborist. His attention to detail and dedication to perfection makes him a great asset to the team. He is an avid outdoorsman and if he’s not busy tending to your trees, he can be found fishing and traveling.
